A number of transactions announced today. Can anyone kindly venture to answer why one fund moves its shares to another?

Serious? Is that the reason why someone willing to sell at 9c!! Dirt cheap @9c!

Great to see that it is trying to test 17c again!! When the fear subise.....Hu An should rejoin the rally!

Really do not understand why the major shareholder is selling. Hope that the last quarter is profitable. Should know by end of Feb.

Yeung Wai Wing still selling, 2.2 m one day, 1.1 m the other day.
He still has a tonne of stock, and it's best to stay clear of Hu An Cable until the selling is almost finished.

Why this guy wants to dump, I wish I knew. Good luck to the company -- this is going to be damaging

From a low of 8.9 cents in mid-Dec 11, Hu An has done some recovery. Closed at 12.9 cents today. About 33% up from low of 8.9 cents. Maybe the subst shareholder has eased off from selling. Still, question is, why the subst shareholder was selling down at such low prices????

Another big disappointer -- Hu An Cable. Stock is down 60% for the year 2011.

What happened to the promising growth? Yes, it was there in the revenue growth of 40% for 9M2011 (so far). But the earnings per share got a beating -- down 31% in 9M2011 -- becos profit margin was squeezed and there was new share issue for Taiwan TDR listing. All in all, a tough year for those still holding the shares -- now at 11.3 cents.

This is not the only stock that has been sold down sharply. Fundamentally, the business has been disappointing. While they have been able to clinch lots of contracts, the profit margins have gone down and, worse, there is bad debt.

What happen to Hu An Cable?

It went down 20% to 13.6 cents! Marriage deal?? But the volume is low, and the buy and sale orders too fragmented??

TDR just down by 2%.

Even if TDR is off, and that its Q3 is lousy, it should not be that bad isn't it??

Anyone knows??

HU AN CABLE: Why it's one of only 3 stocks SEAVI Invested in this year

I remember this story & was impressed by the conviction of SEAVI guy.

Does anyone know if the fund has sold out of Hu An? I would be surprised if it has because it was supposed to take a long-term view. Unfortunately, as we all know, Hu An stock has done poorly. The financial performance has been weak too. So is this a stock that can pick up in the future? The cable industry should continue to do well and the renewable energy sector is handing Hu An Cable lots of contracts of late. But …. Stock price cannot perform leh. So how?

In Taiwan, it's been going down .... 12.25 TWD.
In SG, it's been creeping up... now 30.5 cents.

Why? My guess is TWD side know there is a load of shares to be sold to investors there under 2nd TDR prog.

In SG? Less supply in the market now...

OMG only 14% of tendered shares for TDR prog will be sold on Taiwan market.
Everybody trying to get out thru the door but only 14% can go thru!

Hu An is doing 12.55 TWD in Taiwan, equiv to 44 SGD cents now.

Huge premium of 52% over SGD price. Anyone applied to 2nd TDR programme? It is a good exit price compared to selling in SG.... unless u want to hold to Hu An for the long haul

It has a pretty impressive closing at 0.42 today which is the ipo price... lets see if it is able to go above it tomorrow... anyway cimb has set a 0.64 price target for hu an

Hu An has disappointed investors so far, as it is trading slightly below IPO price of 42 cents. Hu An is not a trader's stock but a fundamental investor's buy. SEAVI is in this stock for the long haul because China is going big on power infrastructure as the country modernises.

The order flow into big players like HU AN will be good, so it's a stock to hold for the good gains - not just 5% buy today sell on contra. Buy to hold for months or even more than a year because the gain could be very worth the holding = 50%? 100%

Last Friday, closed at 11.80 Taiwan side, which is 41.80 Singapore cents (after adjusting 1 TDR = 1.25 ordinary shares). The Taiwanese also dont appreciate this stock although SEAVI seems very hot on it. This is puzzling. Who is the better investor?

 

TDR debut was yesterday with the stock rising by 7% limit - fantastic start. Let's see if it continues and if the Singapore mother share can do justice. How come the Spore stock tank yyesterday by 1.5 cents to 39.5 cents?

No action on this stock.... Why?
TDR pricing is not at big premium. Why?
