Artivision 3Q result is just out : Revenue S$49,000. 9M revenue was $197K, which gives it the dubious distinction of achieving probably the lowest corporate revenue in the history of Singapore Exchange.

Yet the market has given it a stock value of S$142 million. What will the future bring that can justify its S$142 million  market cap?

Artivision -- no one ever imagined it would hit 29 cents but it has done so. Which proves that:

a. Some people know something is going to happen.
b. Some big boys are playing the stock.
c. Lots of people are riding on the momentum.

Substantial shareholder Tembusu has exited. From 11.2% gone down to 4.97%, now no one knows when they sell more. ....

Why isn't Tembusu sticking around to see the Facebook app bring in glorious pots of $?

I have sold majority of my shares in Artivision today at 25 cents.

I took back my capital. Whatever remain are the profit made.

I am putting the capital to buy some more Techcomp today.

Many funds that I met told me that they do no expect QE 3 to be launched. I hold a different view on this matter.

I do think that Bernarke holds the view that the global economy is still fragile and did not recover in 1H2011 (hit by Japanese tsunami). Hence, I believe he will not risk holding back QE 3. In fact, I do think QE 3 could be more aggressive than QE 2.

Nobody is right or wrong in this. It is everybody's guess.

halt - announcement could be positive news. Which the market seems to have got wind of yesterday when the stock price recovered.

if it's negative news, jialat. the stock would be ready to dive.

All in, this is a very exciting stock to play, if you have nerves of steel.

dropped to 15.5 cents this morning... waiting for it at 11 cents...and then it cheong back to 21 cents. this is a truly manipulated & supported stock, in my view.

What you said is true. There are too many unknowns about this Company. That's why this is a bet, not an investment.

Having said that, one should not just bet on everything without looking at the existing factors.

That is the joy of stock market.

I would rather study Artivision and explore the possibility of buying this stock, than to consider Singtel, a dead stock in my humble opinion.

Mr Market is always right. Never underestimate him.

MacGyver, it's likely that the shareholder sees the potential, so they pump in money to keep the company afloat. However,

a. It's not clear (to me) when the potential can be monetised in a significant.

b. it's possible the shareholder has no choice - this is like a child who is not doing well, but the father has the love & faith to keep believing in  him.

Anyway, i hope yr bet makes money. That  is what the stock market is abt - it's whether you are lucky or not, and the company can be undervalued or overhyped.

Artivision sank as low as 12.5 cents this morning --- now 14. A few weeks ago, those who thought this time it's different, now they see the lesson again : Biz got no earnings but a promising Internet app, well, the stock can be a multi bagger on the way up and shrink dramatically on the way down.


Will Artivision recover ? Of course, but show me the earnings first!

This is a penny stock that is deflating and will deflate - unless its earnings potential from its Facebook app can become more evident. Now, it's pretty blur

I must say the announcement tonight on SGX website does give a good sense of the potential of the Advision app. Just wish that the company gave more details of how the monetisation works.
